![]() I prevent Window's device detection from "finding" drivers for it (also possibly unnecessary!) and suddenly I'm prompted that my Wacom has installed correctly and I get my tablet settings menu! Last stage, after restarting, downloading the latest working drivers (for me: 6.3.11-4a), and restarting again: only after reinstalling do I plug the tablet back in. This is possibly unnecessary!Īfterwards, I went into the Add or Install Programs screen, and completely uninstalled the Wacom drivers! Literally nothing worked and it was driving me up a wall but I finally did the "oh wait that's obvious" trick:įirst, I popped into Device Manager, I disabled the "Wacom" HID-etc-Mouse (but not the actual "Wacom Mouse") Ok I was also having this problem! I'm on Win7, not 10, but the exact same issue suddenly happened a few weeks ago. Sadly, none of these "solutions" worked, though I'm happy they worked for others. Going to Device Manager, entering the HID-Compliant Mouse device, and updating drivers through there (it says the best drivers are already installed). Installing driver 6.3.4-3 (which is specifically for USB tablets). Installing driver 6.3.14-1 for good measure. Installing driver 6.3.11-4a (Intuos3 for Windows <10) as suggested here: Installing driver 6.3.15-3 (Intuos3 for Windows 10) as suggested here: Using the pen that comes with the Intuos3. Model PTZ-930 Intuos3 is a USB-linked drawing tablet. Running Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) on HP ProBook 4540s. Going to Device Manager shows it is installing as an HID-Compliant Mouse, under "Mice and other pointing devices", when it should appear as a Wacom Tablet under "Human interface devices". Going to Wacom Tablet Properties brings up "A supported tablet was not found on the system." ![]() Using it with GIMP or Photoshop just uses its mouse functions (movement, left/right/middle click), but will not recognise pressure sensitivity. My Intuos3 (Model PTZ-930) tablet works as a mouse, but not as a tablet.
